Game Balancing & Patches (June 8, 2025)
Important Update:
We've implemented some crucial adjustments to balance the class boosts that were initially introduced at the server's launch. Our aim was to address these sooner, but other pressing issues took priority earlier in the week. We recognize that these boosts were particularly beneficial during what has been a challenging week.
General Game Patches:
Coal & Coke: Coal piles now work with washery-grade coke.
Performance Improvements:
Windmill rotors and sails: Disabled (cause lag).
Butterflies: Turned off (cause lag).
Monster Spawns: Drifters, Bowtorns, and Shivers can no longer spawn on loose stones.
Drop Rates: Dry grass drop rate increased with taller grass.
New Item Acceptance: Pit kilns now accept washery-grade coke and rot peat.
Water Travel: Boats have increased speed.
Bow Crafting: Custom recipes added for bows.
Compost Changes:
Composter is now the primary way to get rot.
The in-game display (GUI) for composting is incorrect, but items will rot at the correct speed.
Fish: Increased spawn rate.
Stack Sizes Increased:
Raw daub: 600
Wildcraft boards: 320
Boat Crafting: Only Wildcraft boats can now be made in the crafting grid.

Below are changes to specific classes, including new "Class Lock" items (meaning only that class can make them) and changes to item output (Master vs. Apprentice):

Looters: Base recipes fixed.
Disabled Abilities: Recall, Stability, Scent Mask Strong.
