Now that it's here, it's Eldrin's and my job to meticulously piece the entire crystal back together. Thankfully, it didn't shatter too badly this time – there are five large pieces and twenty-seven smaller ones.

Zephyr from the recovery team said the small ones were easy to find, scattered close to the Nux. The hardest part was hauling the last large piece, as it had landed on the far side of a mountain range. Eldrin muttered that the Dustine crystal had shattered more than fragmented; apparently, there were 329 medium pieces and a staggering 1253 small ones. It took him three whole years to put it together, and by then, the Veridium crystal had returned, so he didn’t even get a break between them. No wonder he’s so stooped over at only 35.
